THE "GOLD BASIN"...
On many farms in the Chianti, wheat is being cultivated once again, according to
a century-long tradition that was abandoned in the 1970s.
In San Martino at Cecione, near Pranzano in Chianti, one can find the Marinai farm
that is still passionately cultivating special wheat varieties between olive groves.
You can view the antique farming methods and equipment as follows.
