The museum of pasta

Discover the treasures of the Museum of Pasta and Tuscan Rural Life

A piece of history that allows us to relive the past, celebrated in our museum and present in our pasta factory for over 100 years.

The Museum was founded thanks to the love and passion of its founder, "Giovanni Fabbri"

Its history began 125 years ago with a private collection that was later enriched by various donations from our fellow citizens and acquisitions by the company owners.

Today, the Museum houses more than 400 objects dating from the second half of the 18th century to the first half of the 20th century.

Guided tours

Our guide will take you to the upper floor, where our production is carried out using original machines from the 1950s. Here, you will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of our pasta production, the importance of using temperatures below 38°C, and the beneficial effects that ancient grains have on our health.

A centuries-old collection

Hundreds of items dating from the 17th century to the early 20th century.

In our museum, you will experience a fascinating journey into the daily life of the 20th century and the early 1900s. We are surrounded by a rich collection of tools for grain processing, pasta production, and ethnographic objects: from presses to guitars, vintage scales, and sifters.

A unique library

Our library consists of rare volumes available to students, professors, and other enthusiasts.

The library is open to anyone interested in acquiring rare texts. Volumes are classified by topic and period: pasta-making industry and vintage machinery, scientific literature on grains, a wide range of recipe books, and many other curiosities.
